What is the London Health Board?
London Councils, the Mayor of London and key health partners have jointly agreed to establish a London Health Board. The Board’s role is to provide leadership on health issues of pan-London significance, where this adds value to decisions, agreements and action at local level. It will make the case for appropriate resourcing of the London health economy, ensuring that the importance of London's health, and its medical research centres, to the national economy is fully recognised.
